Ever wondered what a World War II airplane could do to a helicopter? Well this short video will quite clearly showcase the destruction an airplanes propeller can cause to a helicopter. That poor Jet Ranger “parked” nicely on the grass is nothing more than chewing material for that big brutes propeller.

Plane vs. Helicopter

Dwaine’s death

Most people think skydiving is a dangerous sport. Jeb Corliss is probably one of the best known professional skydivers in the world and in this interview he talks about his friends death. Dwaine died after hitting the bridge at 120 mph and Jeb Corliss was there to see it.

What I know about this video is that the helicopter is an Enstrom and is somewhere off the coast of Ireland on the deck of a Greenpeace ship. One of the deck straps was not released correctly. The pilot managed to control the helicopter but damaging the anti-torque rotor blades in the process. Check out the guy in the back as the blades pass inches away from his head. Good thing this didn’t turn into a disaster.

Helicopter accident

Well, I have seen some very bad take-offs in my life. But this one, I have to admit, must one of the worst. I think the airplane in question is a Grumman G-21 Goose flying boat. This type of airplane has been around since the 1930s. Seems such a tragic end for a WWII veteran. Good thing nobody got hurt.

Really bad take-off

Double chute accident

This guy is just one of the unluckiest, and in the same time, luckiest man on Earth. His first free fall ever ends up with two crashes. Now that is really serious, but he survives. Double chute accident in the same jump, and the man lives to tell his tale. Lucky or unlucky? What do you think?
