Man I just love helicopters. I’ve flown gliders and planes but the helicopter remains the love of my life. And this helicopter video is one of my favorites. This is a presentation of helicopters in service with the US Army, and there is some great action featuring the Huey, Comanche, Apache, Chinook, Blackhawk, Kiowa Warrior, Little Bird and so on. Soundtrack is great. I highly recommend this video, it’s simply great!
This is a former clip of the Aviation Légère de l’Armée de Terre - ALAT. The ALAT is one of the many Corps that form the French Army officially known as the Armée de Terre. The ALAT consists mainly of Gazelle and Puma helicopters and was established on 22 November 1954 for observation, reconnaissance, assault and supply duties.
Built around the 30 mm Gatling gun, the Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is one of the most amazing aircraft in the world, and also one of my favorites. A rugged airplane, the Warthog or simply Hog is a true tank in the skies with one mission: to bring hell to the enemy. It can launch missiles and bombs and stuff like that but the main armament is the Gatling gun capable of firing almost 4000 uranium depleted shells… hell yeah, that gun will deliver a massive punch.
Helicopters are fun to fly and these guys have probably the best job in the world. French Army Puma helicopters fly low and dirty in Tchad. It really doesn’t get any better than this. These guys are crazy!
