This is a former clip of the Aviation Légère de l’Armée de Terre – ALAT. The ALAT is one of the many Corps that form the French Army officially known as the Armée de Terre. The ALAT consists mainly of Gazelle and Puma helicopters and was established on 22 November 1954 for observation, reconnaissance, assault and supply duties.
These pilots probably have the time of their lives in Chad. No restrictions, no nothing… just man and machine in a great playground. The Mirage F1 is a very rugged airplane suited to the conditions in Chad where it performs aerial reconnaissance missions. These missions are known as “leisure missions” since pilots have quite a lot of fun doing stuff normally forbidden. Check out some amazing low-level action over the desert of Chad.

This is really one very very cool stunt. Stunt bikers have always wanted to jump over all sorts of things, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this guy chose a plane as his obstacle. Perfect timing, by the way…

When i first was this video I really had no idea of what was about to happen next. Caught me completely of guard. This is just crazy. Can you guess what is going to happen next?
This Viper pilot really managed to entertain. You can quite hear the “Wows” and “Uhas” as he takes his F-16 Falcon on a really low flyby at high speed. Great stuff!
Some times commercials can be really funny. Take this one for instance. It’s crazy and funny and great. Two Boeing 747 Jumbo crews battle it out in the airport using their planes. A real laugh. How would you fell if you heard “Your flight is ready for boarding” and then saw two Jumbos with two insane crews at the gate?
Things started out quite well with this demonstration. Until the last jet peeled off. Engines seemed to flame out, listen to the commentator saying all there is to be said and then look out for the BANG. That about sums it up.
