The French really do know how to make good videos. I’ve said this for quite a long time now. Anyway, check out these cool pilots and their Pumas doing some really crazy stuff over the deserts of Chad. That low pass over those three soldiers is really scary. I bet if I were in their shoes, I’d shit myself in fear. Enjoy!

There is a saying: “Given enough thrust, even bricks can fly… the F-4 Phantom is proof of that!” Check out this German F-4 Phantom as it pushes the limit further down with every pass. Must have been quite a spectacular sight, especially that last low pass.

On the rocky hills of Afghanistan there really isn’t much to do for the soldiers… and this is why they need a little bit of distraction. Guess a Viper coming in low and fast is quite a thrill for these guys. Actually, I pretty much think this is cool except the part where the Viper leaves us in a cloud of dust. Oh well, the F-16 is really an awesome jet!

This F-16 comes in for a very very low level high speed pass. Some might argue this Viper was way out low, but who cares… as long as the crowd was pleased

Low level flight of a Jaguar caught on tape… great sound at the end!

This Harrier jumpjet comes in for a high speed low pass. That jetblast must have been really hot… anyway awesome pass!

Here is another low level pass just a few feet above the water, this time performed by a Jantar sailplane. This is one very cool pass, when you think this guy was constantly losing speed during the pass.

These two gliders come in for a low level flyby. Footage was taken at Torrey Pines in March 2003.

Two planes on a collision course can result either in a spectacular fireball, or, such as it is the case here, in a crazy near miss. Seems awfully close doesn’t it?

This F-14 Tomcat came in for a high speed pass. Water vapor was cool, noise was great, crew of the USS John Paul Jones was enthused…. But when the plane climbed away, something crazy happened…. the large fireball and the loud BANG exploded into everyone’s years.
