There have been quite a lot of stunts performed by skydivers over the years and this one has to be one of the coolest of them all. Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is already a sign of madness, but jumping out of a perfectly good airplane without a parachute and with just a pair of shorts on you is definitely beyond crazy… or so it would seem. My personal opinion? Coolest jump ever!
Most people think skydiving is a dangerous sport. Jeb Corliss is probably one of the best known professional skydivers in the world and in this interview he talks about his friends death. Dwaine died after hitting the bridge at 120 mph and Jeb Corliss was there to see it.
Record breaking 80+ formation. Two jumps were made in an attempt to set a new world record in the parachuting sport of “canopy formation”. The historic 81 and 85 person jumps were planned by a group called CF World Record 2005. The skydivers secured themselves to each other by wrapping their feet around the lines of the parachutes below them creating this wonderful parachute diamond.
This is one really funny commercial. This skydiver wannabe is confronting his fear while looking down from the airplane. Yeah, he really doesn’t want to jump… but his instructor makes a generous offer throwing out some beer( catch it if you can! ). Seems this is one offer the pilot cannot refuse… See ya, dude!!!
One of the most extreme, crazy, mad, insane … ( and the list can go like this for pages ) stunts I have ever seen. Surely, he knew what he was doing and was in control the whole time, but man, there is something about having a burning parachute over your head that gives me goose bumps. Ever heard the expression: “He’s on fire!”. Yeah, that sounds kinda right for this one.
This is really one intense video. Crazy near miss, or near hit. This guy passes inches away from an incoming airplane. After seeing this one I have to say i totally agree with him. Left me wondering though… what would have happened if he didn’t pop the chute?

Do you think jumping out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute strapped on your back is boring? American professional skydiver Greg Gasson does. He thought why not jump out of a perfectly fine airplane with a parachute in his hand? Oh yeah, he is barefoot too… not that it really matters but this just shows you don’t need a wingsuit to be cool… a pair of jeans will do just fine.
